Steven Felts

Steven became a Partner in 2012 and oversees the firm’s Wills and Probate department.

He joined Christopher Davidson in May 2007 as a newly qualified Solicitor having trained with a firm in Swindon. He obtained a 2.1 in LLB(Law) from Staffordshire University in 2003 and a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course in 2004 also from Staffordshire University.

Steven’s area of expertise is Wills, Probate, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and he has a special interest in Contentious Probate matters and has dealt with a wide range of matters from Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) 1975 disputes, Proprietary Estoppel Claims, Capacity disputes and Donatio Mortis Causa (Death Bed Gift) claim.

Steven is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section and has also obtained the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales and is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Outside the office, Steven enjoys attending auctions and carboot sales looking for bargains and is a keen quizzer. His claim to fame is that he has appeared on ITV’s the Chase going up against the Beast, Mark Labbett.
